Dating from the 1910's - 1920's and marked "Schwartz Sectional System, Indianapolis, Ind." medicine file cabinet was probably used in a doctor's office or pharmacy. 14 vertical file drawers pull out and swing open, some have various adjustable dividers to accommodate pills and drugs of different sizes. At the bottom section there is one shelf that is adjustable (possibly there were more shelves originally). Brass pulls and drawer numbers seem to be original.
Cabinet shows age and wear all around, scuffs, scratches, some surface damage, staining inside and on the top, etc... Drawers are functional. There is a hole in the back board at the bottom. A few nails are missing that should be holding the hardware.
Measurements: 23"W x 55.5" H x 18" D.
