About this item
This ceramic relief beer stein features a hinged pewter lid marked made in Western Germany and Eckhardt & Engler factory mark to the underside. It is decorated with two people drinking beer at the table and one playing guitar.
Text reads: “In vino veritas aber auch im bier etwas.”
Stein measures about 9-3/4" tall and 3-1/4" in diameter at the base. Size is marked 1 L.
Stein shows age and a bit wear. No chips or cracks, showing some crazing.
